MAINEY, Paul F. Of South Boston, passed away on January 4, 2021. Loving son of Paul M. and Jacquelyn (McMahon) Mainey of South Boston. Devoted father of MacKennan Mainey of South Boston. Brother of Jennifer Brooks and her husband Tommy of South Boston. Uncle of Jacqulyn, Emma, and Thomas Brooks. Great-uncle of Beckham Brooks. Also survived by many aunts, uncle, and cousins. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Funeral Mass will be private. The Funeral will be livestreamed at Gate of Heaven Parish website www.gateofheavenstbrigid.org on Tuesday, January 12th, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. O'Brien Funeral Home

I am so very sorry for your loss. The family and friends of Paul are all are in our thoughts and prayers . On behalf of my Dad Jim Mainey and my uncle John Mainey, please know they both are so very saddened. If there is some way for them to connect with you, they would very much like to do so. Neither are very up to date with technology so I am sending this message for them. If there is someone in the family who may have a moment to email me with some contact information, I know that my dad would be so grateful.
