It was always a delight to visit with Paul when he was Dean at Mass Art and we rented the gym. He was always a gentleman and kind to a fledgling young athletic director who also grew up as a son of the City. He was a YAC guy and 20 years later I was an ABCD kid. Although a generation separated us we always spoke about how great it was growing up in Boston, even though we had very little as kids. Very fond memories of our do you remember and arguing who were the best athletes and teams through the years
Paul and Theresa played the role of angels to their grandchildren. A truly good guy. Sorry for the loss. Joe Walsh

Paul brightened all of our horizons at MassArt. As a student in the early 80's I worked in Student Services. Yes, Paul was my boss. He made me feel like I was a member of a team... part of the family. We piloted many programs: hockey, basketball leagues and the turkey trot were memorable. Mass Art had the best sports banners around!
Paul got the crew and I out of hot water a few times. I leased a xerox machine for the Design Students Cooperative in the Overland building - surprise - he made sure it got moved over to the Huntington Ave tower building. There's another tower furniture story I can't get into... and the Mass HeArt Attack. Because of him, his way with people, his humor - all great memories.
My thoughts and prayers are with Paul's family and his countless friends. It was an absolute honor to know him.
