It was always a delight to visit with Paul when he was Dean at Mass Art and we rented the gym. He was always a gentleman and kind to a fledgling young athletic director who also grew up as a son of the City. He was a YAC guy and 20 years later I was an ABCD kid. Although a generation separated us we always spoke about how great it was growing up in Boston, even though we had very little as kids. Paul brightened all of our horizons at MassArt. As a student in the early 80's I worked in Student Services. Yes, Paul was my boss. He made me feel like I was a member of a team... part of the family. We piloted many programs: hockey, basketball leagues and the turkey trot were memorable. Mass Art had the best sports banners around!

Paul got the crew and I out of hot water a few times. I leased a xerox machine for the Design Students Cooperative in the Overland building - surprise...

I knew Paul as a student and later, a colleague at MassArt. I will always remember his thoughtfulness and uplifting spirit. I send sincere condolences to his family and loved ones with gratitude for having known and spent time here with him.
