I met Paul by driving him to medical appointments and became a friend. His incredible memory always astounded me. He had a zest for life and spirit of positivity that was particularly infectious. All this, despite the infirmity and challenges he was faced with. Almost every month we would get together to complete his errands and sometimes share a meal together. This of course became interrupted by frequent hospitalizations. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. The world will be a less positive and less interesting place without him in it. Paul, you are no longer in pain or with physical challenges. Enjoy your new freedom. You will be missed my friend.

Yes, Paul and I go back a LONG way! Back to the mid '70s when both of us were college students with bold ambitions and plans ahead. To say that Paul was unique would gravely understate his rare gifts for socialability, memory and wit. As Security Guards at a major Boston hospital, he seemed to know everyone from the humble, hard-working cleaning crew to harried executives who would smile and acknowledge his cheerful presence. Memory? Truly astounding! Encyclopedic knowledge of particularly the sports world of which we both debated for many years. Paul's kind and mold won't soon be replicated and may he live in everlasting peace!

In loving memory of Paul J. Reinhalter Jr.,
Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Paul was a valued and dear friend for many years. We shared a love of teaching and sports. I am sure that Saint Peter will welcome Paul with an ice cold Guinness. Then Paul will stride proudly through those Pearly Gates and reconnect with many old friends and family. We miss you, Paul.
