Paul Simpson Obituary

SIMPSON, Paul S. 67, of Fall River, died Sept. 28, 2010 at home. He was the husband of Natalie E. (Larson) Simpson and the son of the late Thomas & Helen (Brock) Simpson. He was born in Boston and lived in Holbrook, W. Yarmouth & Wareham before moving to Fall River. He graduated from Holbrook High School. He served in the Navy. Mr. Simpson was a Senior Mechanic at Polaroid in New Bedford for 35 years before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed golfing, reading, sports and the Red Sox. He was a member of the Eusebeia Bible Church. Survivors include his widow; 3 daughters, Kirstin Pimental of Bellingham, Erika Kauranen of E. Wareham & Lindsay Pierce of Fall River; a brother, Thomas J. Simpson of Brockton; a sister, Janice Kydd of Charlotte, NC; 3 grandchildren, Cooper & Brendan Pimental & Emily Kauranen. His funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., WAREHAM. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Eusebeia Bible Church, P.O. Box 316, N. Dighton, MA 02764. My deepest regrets to the Simpson family. Paul and worked at Polaroid for many years and even car pooled for a couple. Again, just found out of Paul's passing. He was a very friendly man and I'm sorry of his passing.
