Mr. Sugarman was Dean for two of my years at Suffolk Law. A preeminent lawyer and leader of the bar in the Commonwealth for decades, the legal profession benefitted greatly from his service at so many levels. He will be truly missed. Condolences to the Sugarman family.

Our dad, Ben Nesson, who passed away in 2004, thought the world of Paul, as a lawyer and as a person.

To the Sugarman Family - I got to know Paul when I was Dean at Boston University School of Law. He was such a good friend. Having been a Dean himself, he knew the challenges and was a great source of confidential advice. And such a generous supporter of the school. Our lunches were always such a treat because I also heard about his travels with Susan and what was new with Alex. I will miss him. Deepest condolences to the family, Maureen

Ron and Paul, old friends are together again. Paul came to see Ron when Ron was in hospice during Covid. Was so meaningful to me. Ron rallied and said, "Paul, take down your mask and let me see your smile". And he did. He was a great comfort to me during trying times after Ron´s death. Love you Paul!

To the Sugarman Family:
Please accept our deepest sympathies. Paul was a true gentleman lawyer, who mentored many in the profession. He cared about the practice of law and those who practiced its trade. In our courthouses, he was a friend to all, from those that greeted him at the door to clerks, court officers, staff, and judges.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Michael Sullivan
