DiDOMENICO, Peter Paul 68, of Bonita Springs, Fl., formerly of Newton and Needham, died Thursday, September 7th of brain cancer. Beloved husband of 46 years to Judith Ann (Civetti) DiDomenico. Loving father of Leann DiDomenico McAllister and her husband Terence, and Peter Salvatore DiDomenico and his wife Danielle. Hero grandfather to Andrew, Jack, Emelia, and Luca. Cherished brother of Sandra (DiDomenico) Antonellis and her husband Dan, and Joseph William DiDomenico and his partner John Burkhardt. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Amelia (Millie) and Sal, and by grandson Samuel. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave NEEDHAM, on Tuesday, September 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton on Wednesday, September 13 at noon. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Sox Foundation. A graduate of Newton North High School, Suffolk University, and Babson College, he enjoyed a fulfilling career as a senior executive and chief financial officer. I only knew Peter for a short period of time as I worked briefly with him a few years ago. I did not know him well but I did know immediately that he was a good man....so good in fact that I am leaving this message several years later in 2019!

I remember Peter in high school.
He was a very polite, friendly and kind man.
He was a great conversationalist and all around good guy.
Just having learned of his passing I was deeply saddened.
