A lifelong friend. We weren't always in touch, but when we got together, it was like no time had passed. Every time I stop by to visit my folks, I drop by to see you as well. It's so sad that visits happen where they do. I miss ya.

My heart aches for your most profound loss. Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you all move through this most difficult time. Peter was an amazing man and will be so missed by all that knew him and the lives he touched. May he rest in the sweetest peace and may the angels lead him in.

I worked with Peter at DPH. We shared many conversations about the Bruins and his times umpiring baseball. He often shared stories about his children; his son's pitching exploits at school and a trip to the NY Islander's Nassau Coliseum with his daughter, to name a few. Peter was a gentleman and well respected for his work and dependability at DPH. I was fortunate to have known him. He will be missed.
