Peter E. O'LEARY

O'LEARY, Peter E. Age 76, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth, MA surrounded by his family.

Born in Malden, a son of the late John and Doris O'Leary, he spent his youth in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High School. He lived in Mashpee and Canton. He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Brandi); and his two sons, Jake (wife Jill) of Venice Beach, Florida and Sean (wife Faye) of Chelmsford, MA; his loving grandchildren, Hayden, Finley and Margretta. He leaves two brothers, Stephen (wife Benvinda) and his twin brother, Paul (wife Trish); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margretta (Johnson); and son, Peter; and his brother, John (wife Janet).

After high school, Peter went to work with Harrington Brothers Sheet Medal Corporation as an apprentice and worked his way up to a management position.

Upon retirement, he started a second career in his beloved Town of Mashpee as Assistant Harbor Master, which he loved and served for over a decade.

Peter was also a Freemason and for many years an active member of The Shriners' organization.

Peter enjoyed spending winters in Florida and boating. Peter will be sorely missed by his family, his many friends and business associates.

A " Celebration of Life" is being planned for this summer.
