PETRINA P. BIONDO

BIONDO , Petrina P. Lifelong resident of Roslindale, passed away on October 7, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Stephen and Pauline (Bonaceto) Biondo. Dear sister of Claire (Biondo) DiFelice and her husband, Peter, of Walpole, and the late Frank Biondo. Petrina went to Girls Latin School, where she obtained all A's and A+'s while there. In 1955, Petrina received a four year scholarship to Emmanuel College, where she majored in mathematics and physics. At Emmanuel, she solved very complex math equations. She also attended Northeastern University. Petrina worked as a senior scientist at Avco in Everett. She was a longtime faithful parishioner at Holy Name Church. A Visitation will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, on Tuesday, October 14, from 10-11am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Name Church, West Roxbury, at 11:30am.
