Of Malden in Naples, Florida, Dec. 9, Philip Leo, beloved husband of Gertrude (Legge) Shea. Devoted father of Dr. Patricia A. Shea of Santa Cruz CA, Mary L. Shea of Bangor, ME, Betty M. Preisner & her husband Bruce of Hampton, N.H., Maureen A. Hartl & her husband Jonathan of Wakefield, Philip & his wife Kathleen of Walpole, James F. of Maui, Hawaii and John J. of Chicago, IL. Grandfather of Meghan & Matthew Shea and Brian & Erin Preisner. Brother of Agnes Curley of Weymouth, Alice Lynch of Bedford, Mary "Mae" Gavin of Malden & the late Joseph, Daniel & Paul Shea, Catherine Shea, Christine Shea, Helen Gavin & Ann Reale. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem St., Maplewood Sq., MALDEN, Sat. at 9:15 A.M. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hrs. Fri. 4-8 P.M. Interment private. Late WWII Navy Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The St. Vincent DePaul Society, 1524 V.F.W. Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
