Pia V. Nicolai

A Wellesley resident for over 60 years, died of congestive heart failure, on May 23, at age 88, at the Brigham & Womens Hospital, Boston. Born in Gaeta, Italy, she was the youngest of 7 children, all of whom eventually settled in the Wellesley area. She married her husband Luciano in 1941. The couple had 1 daughter Cynthia. She was predeceased by her daughter, her husband, 5 sisters & 2 brothers. Known simply as Aunt Pia to 3 generations of extended family. Mrs. Nicolai leaves many devoted nieces & nephews, their spouces & children. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rte. 16) WELLESLEY, Friday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Pauls Church, Wellesley at 9 a.m. Relatives & friends kindly invited.
