Our deepest condolences to Josephine, Sabrina and family. The last time I saw Peter he was in his garden with his grandson by his side and I thought how wonderful it was to have those precious moments. ..like something from a movie. He was a very funny person who liked to joke and make people laugh. I know he will be missed but keep the good memories and know that he is at peace now.

Peter in his garden -- August 2019

Above all, a wonderful friend who just so happened to also be my barber since 1971 when I got my first hair cut from Pietro at Casa Barron in Boston. It is an understatement to say that you really get to know a person when you see them about once a month for 49 years. Always personable, always inquisitive to be up-to-date on new or continuing events Peter's sincere caring and personal interest distinguished him as a genuine friend.
The attached photo is from last August when, at Peter's insistence, I came by to pick a variety of vegetables and fruits from his garden. At that home visit, Peter gave a little tutorial on how he harvested and prepared his variety of seeds for the next year's planting. Peter was in his element in his garden I think if he weren't so social, he could have been a very successful farmer.
Peter, for your good cheer and humor, your earnest interest, your great haircuts -- and patience when I was late, thank you from the bottom of my heart for a lifetime friendship packed with so many good memories. If I'm fortunate to get past the First Peter at the Pearly Gates, I promise to look you up to in the heavenly register to lock-in an eternal appointment before you're too booked with so many others hearing about your skill and personality.
A thousand thanks to you, Peter and my deepest sympathy to your family.
