DeRUBEIS, Pompeo Sr. "Paul" Died suddenly on January 26, 2024, age 83. He was originally from San Donato Val di Comino, Italy, and was a resident of Newton for over 60 years. Paul had a love for soccer and was a member of the Newton Soccer Club for many years. He will be dearly missed by his children and his sister Anna, all of Newton. Please respect that the services are for close friends and family. A Visitation will be held in the Magni FH, 365 Watertown St, NEWTON, Thurs., Feb. 1, from 4 - 8pm and again Friday morning at 9AM, before proceeding to Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington St., Newton, for a 10:30am Funeral Mass. Burial Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
