RACHEL DALTON Obituary

DALTON, Rachel A. (Evangelista) Formerly of Hyde Park, died July 2, 2017, at her home in S. Weymouth, surrounded by family. Former wife of the late Edward J. Dalton, Jr. Devoted mother of Edward Dalton and his wife Linda of Plymouth, Dianne Walsh and her husband Richard of Weymouth, Maureen Fagan and her husband Larry of Weymouth and Michelle Dalton of Plymouth. Loving sister of the late Dominic Evangelista and Ann "Honey" Clegg. Cherished grandmother of Rhiannon, Chelsea, Lawrence, Hayley, Shane, Noelle, Tom, Gary, Julieana and many great and great great grandchildren. She is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her loyal companion/angel dog Benji and her grand-doggie Leila. Rachel loved life, and spent most of her days laughing with her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking Italian food, especially meatballs, and her famous Tommy/Gary chicken. She enjoyed reading, sewing and watching old movies. She had a life-long love affair with shopping, and never left the house without "putting her face" on. She was deeply loved by all who knew her, and will be missed. A celebration of Rachel's life will be held on Thursday, July 6th 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM at 74 Nash Rd., Weymouth, MA.
