I worked with Raz at Telebit, he was a very quiet man but always had a smile on his face. He will be missed.

I would like to share my deepest sympathy to the Nhek family. I met Ras while at Telebit and a very strong friendship was born. Ras was the type of person that affected people in the most positive way. Ras always had a smile, positive attitude and a can-do attitude. That spread to everyone that he was around. Ras and I worked together at Telebit and at Cisco in a number of different avenues. He was one of the best co-workers, colleagues and more importantly friends I ever had the pleasure of associating with. While I cannot even begin to imagine the pain that Ras’s loss means to Diane and family, I certainly hope that the many found memories and large impact that Ras has made on such a broad community will help during these extremely tough times.

Ras and I worked together at BBN. It was there that we started our lunchtime chess games. We had many enjoyable games and discussions during the games. When Ras came to Cisco from Telebit we were reunited and got our lunchtime chess games going again. I will forever cherish those memories.
Rasmey was one of the most honest, hard working, loving parents I've ever met!

Dear Family of Ras - a note to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Ras was a friend and Christian Brother. He affected my life in wonderful ways...with his friendship, humor, maturity and faith through his illness and his great Spirit and Love of God. I will miss our walks together where we talked of the difficulties of life and the privaledge of being with family and friends. He was very proud of his children and Loved them and his wife very much. Keep up the good work with baseball Alex....your Dad marveled at and enjoyed your knowledge of the game and Loved watching you practice and play. Ashley, you have a great goal to become a doctor to help others....keep that goal, your Dad will always be there for you. Diana I cannot imagine your loss but again know that Ras is with you always as is the strength of your faith and belief in God. Again, my family's thoughts and prayers are with you.
Best regards, Dan and Karen Velasco

Ras was one of the first people I met when I came to Cisco. We were both part of acquisitions and started one week apart. His children were not born yet and I remember how excited he was each time Diane became pregnant. He was a gentleman in the truest sense; a warm, caring, gentle soul.

Deepest Sympathy to you and your family. I did not know Rasmey personally, but it was obvious here at Cisco that he was a very well loved and respected person.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

A truly unique individual. We met at Telebit and our friendship was filled with fun and laughs. We often talked of promising futures and Ras worked hard to provide his family with one. I think of Ras and a smile comes to my face. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet him. Rest in peace Ras.

Hello Ras
Your departure has left such a void in so many's life. You had been loved by so many in your too short stay in this world. We will truly miss you. Rest in peace Ras.
