Renée NICHOLS Obituary

NICHOLS, Renée Wojcik Died suddenly and unexpectedly, early September 5, 2025. Renée is survived by parents, Elaine M. Wojcik (Fontaine) and Richard Wojcik of Hudson, NH; and sister, Michelle A. Wojcik (Boston and Provincetown, MA). Renée graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro, MA and St. Michael's College, VT. She also earned an MBA from George State University.

Renée meant a lot to many people. In her school days, she was a dancing queen and a DJ extraordinaire. Always spirited and adventurous, she moved to Washington, D.C. to work in hospitality. During her time there, she assisted in launching two popular nightclubs in 1995.

In 1996, Renée moved to Atlanta. It was while living and working there where she met her husband, Bradford Nichols. The couple married in 2004 and had their first son, Hudson, in Atlanta in 2005. In June 2007, they moved to NH, to be closer to her family and for Brad to work for New England Financial Planning Group in Burlington, MA, established by Richard Wojcik in 1980.

Shortly after arriving to Nashua, Renée gave birth to their second child, Miller, in September 2007. Her boys were the light of her life. She adored being their mother and was enamored with each stage of their growth. Both boys attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua and were active in athletics. Renée was their biggest cheerleader, who attended every game and school function. In honor of Renée and Miller, the Bishop Guertin football team will be wearing Renée's initials on their helmets for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Renée confronted cancer twice in her life. She was a truly compassionate person who never took time or life for granted. She touched many lives and had seemingly endless energy. Renée remained close to her parents and sister throughout her life. In her childhood, the family spent many happy days at the beach together on Cape Cod and later in Wells, ME.

When her boys were very young, she framed artwork for Galeria Cubana, established by her sister, Michelle. Soon after, she followed her decades' long passion for yoga and became an instructor. She then taught yoga for several years at The Windsoul Wellness Center in Tyngsboro, MA.

Renée was also a talented cook, who had a neighborhood of friends living in Nashua, with whom she shared many meals. She was an avid pickle ball player and exercise enthusiast. She made many friends on the pickle ball court, at the gym, and in the yoga studio. She was always eager and ready to play.

In addition to being fit, Renée had a tremendous sense of style. She loved to travel with her family and friends. Their international travels took them to Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Portugal, Puerto Rico and beyond.

In addition to her immediate family, Renée also leaves behind many close aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as life long friends, classmates and neighbors who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held, at a later date, yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes contributions made in her name to any of the following charities: Boston Children's Hospital; Wells Mountain Initiative; The Hudson Community Food pantry (NH).

Uncle Rich, Aunt Elaine,
Michelle, Brad, Hudson and Miller, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been thinking about Renee and all of you since last Friday. I couldn´t believe it. I remember the day Renee was born. I was over at Uncle Steve´s and Aunt Regina got the call. We were all so happy. I remember helping out with her as a baby. She was so much fun. As a teenager I remember she and Michelle loved Taylor Dayne. They both loved to dance to her.
I will always think of her as a wonderful mother and a great cousin. I wish I were there right now to share hugs and just be with all of you.
You will all be in my prayers ,
I love all of you,
Kathy

Hearing about Renee´s passing brought a deep sadness. Even though we lost touch after high school, the memories we shared have always stayed close to my heart; those fun double dates, dancing the night away, and singing along to Prince like nothing else mattered. Every time I hear Purple Rain, I think of her.

I´ll never forget the kindness she showed when she brought me a plant after my papa passed in the late '80s. I´m sure she was just as caring and kind in her 50s; her family and friends were so lucky to have her.

Thank you for the memories, Renee. You´ll always have a place in mine.
