BANGS, Richard N. Of Winthrop, October 2, 2025. Devoted husband of the late Joan M. (Sullivan). He is survived by his children: Paul F. Bangs (Sheree) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Patricia M. Winn (David) of North Attleboro, David L. Bangs (Janet) of Hudson, NH, Janice M. MacKay of Winthrop and the late Richard E. Bangs of Winthrop. He is also the proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Justin Bangs, Ryan Winn, Christopher Winn, Matthew Bangs, Stephanie Winn and Bridget Bangs. Richard's legacy also lives on in his five great-grandchildren: Eloise and Evelyn Bangs, Charlie and Jack Winn and Baker Winn. Visiting Hours: Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the Visitation from the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son Funeral Home, 147 Winthrop St., WINTHROP, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The Funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 320 Winthrop St., Winthrop, at 10:00 AM. Service will conclude with the interment in Winthrop Cemetery (Old Section).
