RICHARD CUSIC Obituary

CUSIC, Richard E. "Dick" Of Marblehead, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was born January 3, 1939, in Berwyn, Illinois and died on November 30, 2024, in Danvers, Massachusetts, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; brother, Mike; and wife Karin. He is survived by daughters, Eryn (Anaheim, CA), Kristin (husband, Michael, Swampscott); son, Michael (wife, Samantha, Salem); brother, David (Missoula, MT); and four young grandchildren, (Devin, Dylan, Dottie and Bonnie). Dick's greatest pride in life was to lovingly raise his three children to adulthood. He approached everything in life with passion-he loved a good political discussion, was skilled at classical piano and enjoyed painting and drawing. Dick was driven in business, he served as a banking financial analyst in Milwaukee, a paper manufacturer's sales representative in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, a licensed stock broker with firms in Media, Pennsylvania, New York, New York and Boston, Massachusetts, the founder and president of an innovative financial services subsidiary of a major brokerage firm on Wall Street, New York and an executive placement consultant for a Boston management firm. He also served as trustee and financial advisor for his alma mater, Lawrence University. We will miss you terribly Dad, rest in eternal peace side-by-side with the love of your life, Karin. The family would like to give our utmost thanks and appreciation to the selfless staff at The Mariner in Marblehead, Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, and the entire Care Dimensions hospice team. Online guestbook at www.Solimine.com Visiting Hours: A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2025 (Dick's birthday.) Please contact a family member for more information.

During my freshman year at LU, living in Brokaw Hall, Dick was the head resident while he was working at Thilmany. Many good memories of that year!
