Dear Grace, Ricky, Jeffrey and Tony,
Jessica and I wanted so badly to be there for you but respected your wishes of a private wake and funeral. Please know that you were all in our thoughts and prayers from the minute we were informed of Richie's passing.
If it is so hard for me to believe and accept, I can't even comprehend how you all feel.
When one of my family members passed, I was sent a card with a very poignent phrase in it. I never forgot it and although I only remember part of the phrase, I'd like to share it with you in rememberance of Richie:

"Your tender heart stopped beating
Your gentle hands now rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the Best"

I hope you find as much comfort in these words as I did. Richie and you all were like family to us for so long and this will never change.

Grace, as impossible as it seems now, you will endure but will never ever stop loving and thinking of Richie. This is a good thing because you truely are blessed to have had such a wonderful person, moments and memories in your life.

God Bless You All,
Jacke and Jessica
