RICHARD HOWE Obituary

HOWE, Richard "Big Rick" Of Tewksbury, age 71, passed away peacefully, on July 23 2025. Rick was born on November 2,1953 in Cambridge at Mt. Auburn Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; his parents, mother, Margaret Howe (Traynor) and his father, Robert Howe; and brother, Michael Howe. Rick is survived by his sister, Nancy and her wife, Brenda; and his brother, Stephen and his wife, Maureen. Also survived by nephews, William and his wife, Brianna, Matthew, Michael; and nieces, Shannon and Katherine; as well as great-nephew, Evan. He is also survived by many close friends and family. Rick grew up and attended school in Medford. He was a longtime resident of Somerville before moving to Tewksbury in 2017. Rick was a sheet metal worker for many years and after retiring, worked part-time as a dispatcher at a tow company and a snow-plow driver. To know Rick was to love him. He loved to fish and take his boat out. Whether he was in Massachusetts or fishing with his buddies in Vermont, there was always a fish-tale to be made. Services to be announced.
