MANSUR, Richard R. 73, of Moultonborough, NH, formerly of Reading, MA, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, surrounded by his family at the Goldenview Health Care Center, in Meredith, NH, following a brief illness. Richard had "In Care" status with the Greater Boston Association of the United Church of Christ and was the Pastor's Assistant and Youth Director with the 1st Church in Malden, Congregational for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Susan C. (Lawson) Mansur of Moultonborough; son, Clark A. Mansur and wife Wendy of Moultonborough; grandchildren, Alyssa Marie and Mary Allison, both of Moultonborough; brother, John K. Mansur and wife Peggy of Wales, ME; sister-in-law, Jane Bonaccorso and husband Robert of Grants Pass, OR; nieces, Cheryl Dudus and husband Roman of Cromwell, CT, Laura Reeves of Grants Pass, OR; nephews, Matthew Mansur of Wales, ME, Adam Mansur and his life partner Sarah Sillin, of Takoma Park, MD, Daniel Reeves and wife Jamie of Roseburg, OR. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Foundation, 14280 Collections Center Dr., Chicago, IL 60693 (www.rotary.org). Calling hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home, (Rtes. 3 & 104), MEREDITH, on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 7:00 pm through 9:00 pm, and on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 from 10:00 am through 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated at the Center Harbor Congregational Church, Rte. 25, Ctr. Harbor, on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 12:45 pm. Rev. Earl Miller will officiate. Interment will follow at the Shannon Cemetery, in Moultonborough, NH. www.

Dick and I were friends but for a brief time, however, he was an inspiration! Always smiling, and full of life. I Loved singing with him in the Pemi Chorus. Always positive, always out to find that sad or lonely heart to offer some solace. Thank you Dick for all that you gave! May you Rest In Peace!

Dick was a mentor and friend that is missed. i worked with Dick many years at FDIC. He always was supportive and a close friend. he would constantly talk about his family and friends and share about their achievements. he was very proud of his family.

Dear Mrs. Mansur, I have the privilege of working with Dick at FDIC. Over time he and I became good friends, but when he retired from FDIC I lost touch with him. That was certainly my fault, and now that he has passed I realize what a graze mistake I made by not keeping in touch with him.

Dick was very proud of you, your son and granddaughter. He shared many stories and experiences with me about the Mansur family.

I am sorry that I cannot be there in person to console you, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dick left a strong legacy at FDIC and he will not be forgotten.

Mansur Family,

I was saddened to hear of Dick's passing.

Dick was a trusted friend and colleague to me during his service with the FDIC. He was a hard worker, and always treated people with the utmost respect. I appreciated his honesty, and willingness to help in any situation. I learned a great deal from Dick, and he will be solely missed.
