Ann, I started thinking about you today and googled your last name. I was so sad to read Dick’s obituary. We last saw each other at our wedding September 2, 1967. My husband, Dick, died April 30, 2016 very suddenly and even after 5 years I’m still adjusting. Would love to catch up; I’ll be in Gulfport March 20-27 next month. My cell is 301-788-6592. Peace

I met Dick while playing for the New England Patriots. Our paths crossed because of ministry. He loved Tenn Challenge and asked me to join the board. I did as long as I was in New England.
This morning, Dick came across my mind. I am sorry to know that he passed. I am even more disappointed that I did not keep up with him after leaving Boston.

Dick was so a man of integrity.
Grace and peace to the family,

We (members of the W-L crew team) were thinking about Richard at our class reunion last Fall.

A great brother, guide, mentor, and example to me, his little brother, and a devoted son to our parents. Beth, our sister, and I are still grieving our loss. We arrived at his bedside just minutes after he took his last breath on earth, and as he took his first breaths in Heaven. We sang to him, and told him some stories of his and our childhood as we held his hands. Beth heard him chuckle at a few of our comments in her minds ear. We know that our Redeemer lives, and look forward to hugging Him and Richard in a joyous reunion someday!

Have such great memories of Richard ("Omo" was his high school nickname). We were members of the crew team in high school. He was the cox of our national championship 8-oared shell. Just a great teammate!

Sincerest regrets to hear that Dick has departed --way to soon for someone of his capabilities, accomplishments and character. As a Naval officer and all-round human being "no one did it better"
