1938 - 2021

WALSH, Richard F. Of Roslindale, June 2, 2021. Richie was the loving son of Mary Greene and Edward J. Walsh. He is survived by his brothers Jimmy (wife Rose), Billy, Paul (wife Joan), his twin Bobby, Peter (wife Sarah) and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Fran, Buddy & Johnny, and his sisters-in-laws Kate, Ann, Anne & Priscilla. He served in the Army in Germany from 1959-1962. Then got his teaching degree from Boston State College in 1973. And after teaching a few years went to work at MBTA where we worked for over 25 years and retired to Hawaii. He was tremendously loved by all who knew him, and he will be sorely missed. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, June 8th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o'clock (to live stream the Mass, go to www.sttheresaparishboston.com).
