Dear Pat, Doris and Bobby, I am so sorry that my first message to you in years has to be one of condolence. I am so sorry for your loss. I know this will be difficult and there´s nothing I can say to take that away. I remember "Mr. Blaikie" well and fondly. He was such a nice, caring guy. He was also good looking and very cool, I thought, for a dad. I loved hanging out with you guys in Beachmont. I will always remember those years before I left for college so dearly. You were all so welcoming, warm, nurturing and fun and I´m glad I got to be a part of that, even for a short time. So, my heart breaks with this news and my spirit goes to join you and help give you strength. Please don´t hesitate to reach out to me. My warm, wonderful childhood memories are due, in large part, to the Blaikies - fun, loving, kind, giving... I miss those days, & will miss Mr. Blaikie, my friend's strong, silent, handsome Dad. My gratitude, love, thoughts, & prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Although I never met him I know the wonderful daughter he raised. He must have been a great guy. It's incredibly hard to lose a parent but remeber that you have lots of friends to help you. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Growing up, your dad played a very special part of my life and kept me check when I called for it. I will always consider the Blaikie's a big part of my family. I am so sorry to here about your dad and my thoughts are with all of you during this time. I will miss him very much. I love you all.
