It seemed to be a right of passage from cold weather to warm weather when I would see Bob Bowdring return to daily Mass. Bob was a daily communicant at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in the Green Harbor village of Marshfield, MA. His return was greeted by me more joyously than the rise of the disc of the sun when standing a night watch on a ship, his return had more love and more joy than any sun rising above the sea ever had. It was my great pleasure to pray with Bob these many mornings, for our families, our friends and others. I pray for him now and his family and friends and I look forward to approaching him in Heaven where he would no doubt be giving thanksgiving and worship to God for his many blessings. Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
