At 88 years, in Revere, March 8. Husband of the late Eileen P. (Doherty). Devoted father of Elizabeth M. Evanoff & husband Mark of Erie, PA, Patricia M. Maniff & husband Revere Patrolman Raymond G. Maniff of Revere & Marion G. Moynihan of Saugus. Dear brother of Violet A. Sawyer of Revere & the late Eleanor "Lee" Gallante, Eva C. Benedict, Esther Hughes & Madeline Page. Also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, (Rt. 107), REVERE, on Weds., March 12 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Revere, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Tues. only 5-9 p.m. Parking available in the lot left of the funeral home. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Late WWII Army Veteran & member of Revere Council KofC, American Legion Post #462 of Boston & the National VFW Post #14000. Retired teacher at Franklin Tech. Institute of Boston. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Walnut St., Wellesley, MA 02481.

Mr. Carbone,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
