Robert Coffin Obituary

Of Tewksbury, formerly of Arlington, died Feb. 20, at age 77. Retired from Heavy Machine Operator's Boston Local 4, WWII Navy Veteran. Beloved husband for 46 years of Annamae E. (Foley) Coffin. Devoted father of Robert M. Coffin of VA, Patricia Patierno and her husband James of Groton, Christina M. Coffin of FL, and Colleen Fentross and her husband Peter of Tewksbury. Brother of Barbara Janus of Quincy, Helen Knowles and her husband Dr. William Knowles, M.D. of Mich. Brother-in-law of Joseph Foley and his wife Patricia (Hayes) Foley of Tewksbury, and Julia Quinn of Medford. Grandfather of James, Amanda, Evan, and Stephen Patierno, Jessie, Julia, and Timothy Fentross. His funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 24, at 11:00 AM in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main Sts. (Rte 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 or 978) 851-2950. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Lowell General Cancer Center, c/o Foundation Office, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854 will be appreciated. tewksburyfuneralhome.com.
