DOLAN, Robert U. Of Canton, passed away January 9. Beloved husband of Agnes M. (Cowley). Loving father to Christopher R. Dolan and his wife, Terri of Wareham, Cynthia A. Candlen of South Carolina and Karen D. Curran and her husband, Joe of Gloucester. Dear brother of Marie Driscoll of Dedham and Barbara Macone of Mansfield; and he holds a place in the hearts of his late siblings, Francis Dolan, Madeline Carson, Paul Dolan, John "Jack" Dolan, Theresa Pursley, Patricia Manning and William "Joey" Dolan. He was preceded by his parents, Cecilia and Francis Dolan. Bob's legacy continues through his eight grandchildren and nine (soon to be ten) great-grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., CANTON, Monday, 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton, Tuesday morning, at 10:00. Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Bob worked for 43 years in the Printing Department for the Boston Globe before retiring.
