I was stunned beyond words when I learned of Bobby's untimely passing. Bobby and I were rivals, collegues, and friends at Pope John and Suffolk. We ran for political office against each other in high school (I won), and competed with each other in track (he always won). Bobby was one of the best natural athletes I've ever known. The positive memories that I have of him are too numerous to cite here, but suffice it to say that Bobby was a dear friend whom I grew to know, respect, and admire. And I feel a deep personal loss at his passing.

Nikkia, Christopher and Bob's entire family, How do you say I'm sorry when words are of little comfort? As always, my families love is with you and at this "very difficult" time, know that I would do anything to ease the loss of your dad - brother - son - husband -and friend! Your dad played so many roles, throughout his life, to so many people and will be sorely missed. Thank God kids, that Daddy made sure you had a strong support system. I love you!

On this side of Eternity while we mourn his loss Bob is laughing again! I can imagine him, whole and healed, running around in excitement, tossing his head back with that deep booming belly laugh, joyfully praising his Saviour!! We do not know why such things happen to young men like this...yet our God is there with us, never leaving us, never forsaking us while we live with a broken heart. God bless you, Elizabeth and all the family, as you mourn the passing of your dear Bobby. May God heal your hearts and bring peace to your minds. Love, Linda Bailey

To Carole, Darlene and Michelle: I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. It is so hard to believe how much time has gone by since we first met. Bob will always have a place in my heart. Although I hadn't seen Bob in years, except for a chance run in when I met his lovely wife Elizabeth, we talked on the phone every few months so I knew about his brave battle. My heartfelt sympathy to all. May God bless.
