Bob was a great man. I just heard of his passing and was so sad. I can not actually remember meeting Bob since Joanie is my Godmother I have known them both all of my life. He always had a smile on his face and was the most pleasant person. I know Bob will be truly missed by many.

To the Marks family I wish to offer my sincere condolences at the passing of Bobby Marks senior. My memories of Bob date back to the early 70's maybe even late 60's and all of them are great. It always brings a smile to my face to think of Bob showing up at the house 2-3 times a week just to hang out and talk about hunting with my step dad. Many times the visits would end with chain saws being revved up in the kitchen after a tune up or blade sharpening. Sometimes we would spend the night reloading spent rifle shells, it was always something. Bob was never there without his tradmark smile or hearty laugh. He would regularly offer pieces of advice as he watched me grow from a little kid and he definitely had an affect on how I turned out. There are many people who have many definitions of what it takes to be a real man and I am confident in saying that Bobby Marks had every trait neccessary to fill the requirements. He was always ready to help a friend, he had an incredible work ethic and his love for his family was second to none. He was a fantastic man and someone who I will think of often and fondly.

Bob and Joan were like grandparents to me. As long as their was room, wherever they took Amy, they would take me too! When Amy moved to NH I was devestated but everytime Bob & Joan went to visit they would bring me with them. They were really great to me as a child and even though they are not my grandparents through blood, in my heart they were like grandparents to me!! Bob was one of a kind and will be missed by many!

Growing up Bob and Joan made me feel like I was one of their grandchildren. Wherever they took Amy (as long as their was room) they would take me! When Amy moved to NH and I was devestated they would take me to visit her! Bob was truly an exceptional man and even though he wasn't my grandfather by blood, in my heart he was the closest thing I had to a grandfather growing up. You will be greatly missed Bob xoxo

Bob was a dear neighbor. I will remember his laughter and smile. There would never be a time that I wouldn't leave the house and say, "hi Bob" and you would automatically hear his chuckle. He was always there to count on. Lexi always made sure that her first trick or treat stop was at Bob's. What a wonderful person. Like family he was to me... We love you Bob, you will be forever missed!!

Love Always,
Michelle and Alexis Tavares

Its really hard to imagine that someone like you was taken from this world much too soon. My heart goes out to your family and friends. I will never forget you. RIP

Papa was not just a grandfather to me...he was my father. From the time I was born, he was a father figure to me. I could sit and talk to him for hours about anything and everything. He was always there for me when I needed him. His strength and love for his family was something to be admired. He loved life and was always smiling and laughing. Papa was the glue that held the family together and he left us way too soon. But I will always cherish the years I had him in my life and he will live on in my memories. I feel blessed to be the oldest grandchild, because I got to be with him the longest. I know his influence and guidance has made me the person I am today. He never steered me wrong and I will forever be greatful for that. Papa was the best man ever to walk the earth and God has a special place in Heaven for him. I love you Papa...Always.
