Robert "Bob" Mulvaney was a top flight human being. He was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and very recently a Great Grandfather.
Bob was a true American who fought for America's freedom, our freedom, in the Pacific campaign during World War II. He earned the distinguished "Purple Heart" medal for his efforts.
Bob was a dues paying member of America's "Greatest Generation" who
instilled his many quality character traits in his family and those who were fortunate enough to be around him.
Bob was dedicated to God and there is not even a flicker of a doubt in my mind that Bob has a very special place reserved in Heaven. I have a very strong feeling that if Bob has
any say, that place will resemble his special place on earth, at David's Island in North Weymouth. The place where he raised his wonderful family and spread his infectious goodwill and good humor to all who entered his domain.
I grew up as a friend of Bob's very special family and I feel fortunate to have done so. It may sound cliche', but I have truly looked upon Bob Mulvaney as a Father figure in my life and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
God Bless you Bob.
