Robert F. Reiser

REISER, Robert F. 78, of Sag Harbor, N.Y. died suddenly on April 3, 2010. Beloved husband of Mary (Lawless). Devoted father of Mark, John, (Linda), Robert, (Bernadette), Mary O'Donnell, (Walter), Martin and Peter. Loving grandfather of Erin, Timothy, Daniel, Michael, Brendan, Bridget, Kathleen, Thomas, Walter, Mary Claire, and Robert. He graduated from St. Peter's College, Jersey City in 1954 and received an M.B.A. from The Harvard Business School in 1958. He was a lieutenant in the Intelligence Service in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He worked for Moran Towing Corporation until he joined Xerox in 1964. At Xerox he held various management positions retiring as Senior Vice-president and President of Xerox International. After retiring in 1988, he joined the faculty at Babson College in Wellesley, Ma. where he taught for 5 ½ years, retiring as Chairman of the Marketing Department. He was Mayor of North Haven, N.Y. from 1998-2002. Reposing at Yardley & Pino Funeral Home, 91 Hampton St., Sag Harbor, N.Y., Tuesday, April 6, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Mass Wed., 10 A.M., St. Andrew R.C. Church. Interment- St. Andrew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to The Cormaria Retreat House, P.O. Box 1993, Sag Harbor, NY 11963 or St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 122 Division St., Sag Harbor, NY 11963.
