COMING UP ON THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF YOUR LEAVING US....WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE......IT JUST SEEMED LIKE THE OTHER DAY THAT WE WERE TOGETHER...I DO TALK ABOUT YOU ALMOST DAILEY WHEN I AM TALKING DRAG RACING...ESPECIALLY WITH THAT GREAT PICTURE OF THE FLINTSONE ON THE COVER OF SMOKE.....THE MOST POPULAR SELLING DVD IN OUR COLLECTION OF DRAG RACING FILM.........AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP OVER THE YEARS....

Hey Bob, just me again, letting you know that you have not been forgotten, I know your in a better place, and there are lots of family with you, give them all a hug and kiss for all of us. Even though your out of sight, your smiling/sneering face is there in my memory. :o)

Tammi and Chuckie,
We just found out today about your dads passing, had we known we would of been there. We are deeply saddend, and shocked to say the least. Your dad was a great man who touched the lives of many who knew him. Though I hadn't seen him a quite a few years, I know my mother kept in touch with him. I'm sure both him and Lorraine (I don't know if you remember her from working with him in Stoneham) are up there partying together again. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I never really met much of your family but I do remember many late nites when I helped you with the Flintstone Charger. BOY - those were the days.

Tammi - I only knew Bob for a short time, but his stories and presence were always a lasting memory for me. I will miss them. I am saddened for you, but remember that now he is in peace watching over you and things will get better. My heart goes out to you honey -- your tenant Phyllis

I'll always remember the drag racing days and memories.........you loved drag racing so much you met me in Memphis taken a 3 day break from your HONEYMOON.....TALKING CATHY INTO GOING ON A RUN FROM FLORIDA TO MEMPHIS....BECAUSE I NEEDED YOU TO WRENCH THE DODGE MATERIAL WHEELSTANDER.........OF COURSE SHE UNDERSTOOD PERFECTLY THAN WHEN COOL CALLED....YOU HAD TO RUN.....I WILL CHERISH THOSE AND EVERY DAY WE CHUMMED TOGETHER....YOUR RACING BUDDY AND PERSONAL FRIEND........

The Real Bob Steele will be missed by all of his family and friends.
I am pleased that my son's got a chance to know you. They came away with some crazy memories of you Bobby, you will always be in our memories.

Tammi and Chuck, I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Bob. Greg and I had some great times with Bob and we will always remember him with a laugh and a smile. Greg loved getting his haircut from him and no one will be able to fill his shoes. May God welcome him with arms wide open.
