ROBERT TOSCANO Obituary

TOSCANO, Robert R. Of Providence, RI, formerly of Arlington, on June 7th. Son of the late Francesco and Gemma Toscano (DeFabritis). Brother of the late Edmund Toscano, Inez DeLia, Gloria M. Savard, Philip Toscano, Leo M. Toscano, Geno Toscano and Maria Re. He is survived by twelve nieces and nephews, Angela Check, Ronald DeLia, Anthony DeLia, Denise Movsessian, Paul Savard, Donna Mah, David Savard, Michele Gutman, Lisamarie Hathaway, Maryann Mitiaev, Robin Chartier and Christopher Toscano. He is also survived by twenty-two grand-nieces and grand-nephews and 9 great-great-nieces and nephews. Robert is a late Vietnam Army veteran and was considered "Mayor" of Netop Dr., in Providence, RI; where he considered his dear neighbors to be his adopted family. Robert was a family man and always made it a point to attend birthdays and family celebrations. A retired longtime employee of the USPS and previously Maytag. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in the DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass. Ave., ARLINGTON on Saturday from 9:00 - 11:00 and to his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am in St. Camillus Church.
