To the Carzo Family--I am so very sad to hear of Rocky's passing. As everyone knows, he leaves an important legacy to Tufts. Perhaps less known is the impact Rocky and your entire family had on the adult student program (Resumed Education for Adult Learners) by providing a scholarship in honor of Terry, who completed her Tufts degree through that program. Many alumni have been grateful recipients of your support for being offered a second chance through the Carzo Starfish award. My thoughts are with all of you.

Rocky and I spent many years working out of Halligan Hall together, despite me being an engineer and him being in athletics. He was a wonderful mentor and adviser to me, who encouraged me through my tenure process and beyond. I saw how impactful his mentorship was on numerous young people and consider myself honored to named among them. I am so sorry for your loss.

Rocky was a motivator and inspiration to countless young men and women at Tufts throughout his long and distinguished career. My favorite times with Rocky was when he would jump on the treadmill next to me in the mornings to go for his walk. I would get a Tufts history lesson each and every time! He will be missed by everyone.
May he rest in peace

Dear Mrs. Carzo and Family,
So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking sports with your dad at church or at his home. I will be keeping you all in prayer during this difficult time. With caring thoughts. Helen
