It is sad to hear of Roger's passing. I vividly recall the enjoyable discussion and remembrances shared at the 50th BHS reunion. Roger will be missed by many and he is in my prayers.

Dearest Susan, Getting Older is not for Sissies, was a book given to me when I was just thirty years old!
Now understood. Handling aches and pains or losing your balance and memory are things. Losing beautiful people, both inside and out, that's not for sissies'.
Roger was one of those people. Yes. No one lives forever, but not Roger and not now. Roger, way back was a handsome and cool dude, a kinder person would be hard to find. Leaving a beautiful family was not easy for Roger. Yet, his family is here to make their lives without him. May his love for you and his funny side help sustain you.

My Uncle Roger was a very special person. He had charm that made everyone feel they were his favorite. In a family that measures wealth by the number of people that love you and the quality of that love, Uncle Rog was the wealthiest of us. He was a friend and comedian in good and bad times, was always there to listen and provide guidance the only way he knew how; with care and love.
Unc, I will miss your witty humor, smiling face and cheerful personality. I love you and always will. I am heartbroken by this loss.

Sorry to here the passing of Roger. I remember all times he used to come into C.B.Perkins tobacco at the mall and say hello. Got to know his whole family . Great person. Send my condolences to Susan and your whole family.
