DR. ROGER PIERCE KELLOGG

1921 - 2016

KELLOGG, Dr. Roger Pierce 94, of Rockport, formerly of Northampton, died peacefully at home on March 7, 2016. He is the loving husband of 71 years to Norma Fitts Kellogg of Rockport. He is also survived by four daughters: Kathryn and Nicholas Flynn of Northampton, MA; Cynthia Kellogg and Donna Marie Robinson of Encinitas, CA; Amy and Leo Chausse of Canton, MA; Elizabeth and Raymond Derouin of Enfield, CT. He leaves his seven cherished grandchildren: Regan and Caitlin Flynn; Justin and Elizabeth Chausse; Colin (Annie), Tyler, and Kyle Derouin. He was predeceased by his beloved son, H. Clifton Kellogg, II in 1967. Roger enlisted and served his country honorably in WW II, serving in the 15th Airforce as a 1st Lieutenant and Navigator in the B24 Liberator of the U.S. Army Air Corps, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross. Roger was a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He served in that profession with great pride for 35 years.
