I met Rory software year at Milton High, in the beginning of the year. He hit it off great with my friends and I ... and the rest, as they say is history....
He has been a part of my life for 30 years, and he is a legend in some circles. "Red" "Ro" Man of many names. Many talents. A key player in all of my high school journals, as he was my on and off boyfriend all through high school.
A couple times When I was really sick, in our 20´s, Rory made sure I was okay. Kept checking on me throughout the night.
Rory kept me away from a lot of trouble. I didn´t realize that, and a lot of other things about about Rory, until later in life and even more after he passed.
He was an original . A nonconformist. An introvert. Not worried about the opinions of others.
He was kind.
He was quiet, didn´t need so many words like so many of us do, to get his point across.
He was open minded and didn´t have a bigoted bone in his body. He was incredibly intelligent, always wise beyond his years.
Over the 30 years we never stayed out of contact for very long.
I am glad he is no longer suffering, and I imagine him with Nico making his gourmet dinners (and taking a picture of it, of course) he would show me these pictures, and I would think that it was Rorys meal, but it was Nicos. He really loved her.
I imagine him and Kyle V, Mike K, and everyone we´ve lost, together again , as I believe we all will be eventually.
May he rest peacefully, until next time.

Rory was one of my late son, Kyle Vadeboncoeur,s, friends. They had a lot of common interests and spent time with each other. Rory would Call me after Kyle passed away to see how I was doing. It was very thoughtful and I did appreciate it. Will miss our talks. RIP, Rory..

Rory we met as kids through your Cousin Matt. We bonded over skateboarding, graffiti, music and subculture. We had many urban and suburban adventures. Many late nights with our girls. You were like an older brother to me. No matter what if I called you in a jam you never turned your back on me. The same was true if ever you needed me for anything. So many different abodes every part of the city we ventured and made our own private playground. Your art was inspiring. The crazy b list movies on Tyler st. The beaches, the woods, the trips... I will speak of you often and do everything in my power to see that your legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all who loved you friend. Godspeed Shilla, You are loved and missed your brother.--- Johnny

100% great times with Rory! He gave me my first skateboard deck. We had many great St. Patrick's Day feasts together, movie nights, and gabbing for hours. Skate, Bike, Hike, Live!

I had a home made skateboard box on Mission Hill we all skated it like normal. Rory propped it up at an angle and was doing at least 12 foot Ollie's in the air of some wooden box we made. Instantly we were friends and became great roommates for many years. I loved him as many do.
