ROSETTE S. NUWAYSER

NUWAYSER, Rosette S. Dearly loved sister, aunt, and friend, died on June 3, 2015. Rosette, 87. A graduate of Lebanon's Conservatory of Music, Rosette was a piano teacher and organist in Beirut. In addition, she served as Executive Secretary for Middle East Publications and as Business Manager of the Middle East Forum quarterly. On moving to Boston in 1987, Rosette worked for the Middle East Division of Harvard University's Widener Library, and for Biotek, Inc., in Woburn, MA. Rosette was an active volunteer in her church and with Catholic Charities of Boston. Rosette is survived by her sister, Georgette Fox of Scarborough, England, and her brothers, Elie Nuwayser and his wife Ruth Anne (Kurani) Nuwayser of Wellesley, MA, and Fuad Nuwaysir and his wife Sondra (Haimowitz) Nuwaysir of Sarasota, FL, and by many nephews and nieces. Her Christian devotion and generosity will be greatly missed. Funeral will be from the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Route 16) in Wellesley on Saturday, June 6, at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting Hours Friday June 5, from 6 - 9 pm. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
