To the DeLuca Family,
We are all deeply saddened by the loss of your father, Sal. He was a fine man and a fine police officer. Your only comfort at this time is that is he now able to be with his loving wife once again.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the DeLuca Family: 10-7-2006

My wife, Barbara and I, are deeply saddened over the loss of your father, brother, grandfather, cousin, and to us, a friend. When he was not present at his brother, Joe's, funeral Mass last Monday at St. Agatha's, we knew something serious was preventing him from being there. We never thought he was that ill, however, and his sudden death, at least to us, is something we cannot fathom. Sal, always with a smile and a laugh, and an outstanding police officer, just seemed indestructible. But he was a fine guy, and we know that God has a very special place for him. A most devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, he is reunited with those he loved so dearly. So while we pray for Sal, we also pray for those he left behind, those so deeply troubled by this terrible loss. Take heart in the knowledge that he is in a far better place today than he was a week ago and that someday, God Willing, we may all share another good laugh together. May God Bless all of you and give you the strength to withstand this ordeal.

All our love, sympathy and prayers,
