Hi I just learned now about Sam Adler.and I'm so sorry, I wish I could have met him and Henny Adler. I was trying to get details if they are alive or have any kids with no success for few years now, once I learned that Henny and my Grandmother Berta were cousins!!

Dear Adler Family,
I just learned of Sam's death. I was his teaching assistant for a while at the Eastman School. He visited us in Oregon at the University of Oregon 20 years ago to judge a competition.
I had taught there for 30 years.
I always thought that Sam was simply one of the greatest
and most civil of all human beings; a truly kind and capable man who was much admired by his students,friends and colleagues.
I have thought of him many times over the years.

A kind,loving,caring and intelligent man I had the priviledge to know for over 20 years, and came to love. My thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Henny and the entire family as you mourn Sam's passing, and join with you in celebrating his extraordinary life.
