CHALETZKY, Sandra In loving memory of Sandra (Shore) Chaletzky, from Chestnut Hill, who peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman Chaletzky, her sister Shirley Weisberg and her brother Milton Shore. Sandra was a devoted mother, adored grandmother, and beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews. A graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music, Sandra earned her Masters in voice and piano. She dedicated many years to teaching elementary school and showcased her beautiful soprano voice in performances across Massachusetts and South Florida, including her longstanding involvement with the Temple Emeth choir. Sandra's passion for cooking brought joy to her family and friends, who were frequent guests at her entertaining gatherings where she shared stories and her quick wit. In her later years, she found fulfillment in social and learning groups through Brandeis, the Red Hat Society and Temple Emeth, often indulging in spirited games of mahjong with dear friends. However, Sandra's greatest happiness came from generously giving to others and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and love will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her. Services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00AM at the chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva will be held at her late residence Thursday until 8pm, Friday 12-4 and Sunday 1-5 and 6-8. Remembrances in Sandra's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
