Dr. Cho was my boss when I was a surgical assistant for the organ bank from 79 to 83. He tenaciously pursued knowledge and excellence, and was very kind to me. His legacy is the many lives he saved.

Dr. Cho did my kidney transplant in 2001. At the time I had two young children and a whole life in front of me. Because of Dr Cho's work I have got to see my kids grow, and that was a gift I will never forget. My angel.
Sorry for your loss.

To Sang I. Cho's Family:
Two months ago I lost an angel and only found out about it today. Sang brought his touch and skill to me on March 13th, 1993. His artistry has been well appreciated since that day when a kidney from Kansas arrived with my name on it! EVERY day of my life since I have thought of Sang! I last saw him at the State House when he was honored for his work. I am starting research for a book I intend to write about my polycysitic kidney disease and medical life since that March day. Sang was such a part of my life. His passing makes my journey to write even more important. God Bless you for sharing him with me over the years. He will be missed!

Dr. Cho was our transplant surgeon at BUMC. He was thoughful, compassionate, exacting and of course very skilled. Throughout the time we worked with him and his team we felt confident in every step of the care he directed. His staff were in awe of him and he seemed to be at once, a stern task master and a kind hearted man. We can say we loved him, respected him and are very sad for his family's, and the medical community's, loss.

Mrs. Cho, Elizabeth & Andrew,
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all of you. I was Dr. Cho's secretary at Boston Medical Center from 2000 till 2002. I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. Dr. Cho was a excellent surgeon and his patients thought highly of him. He was a bit tough on me but in return he made me the person that I am today so I thank him for that.
Sincerely,
Ms. Tonya Harris
