Dear Mary Jane, Charlie and Brad,
Please accept our deepest sympathy over the tragic and untimely passing of your dear Sean. Though it's been many years since our sons played hockey together or spent time just playing together as kids, we were so sad to hear this and remember him as a fun loving, happy young boy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I regret that I didn't keep in touch as I should have over the past few years, but I will forever cherish the times we shared together growing up. Riding the bus together to/from the McElwain School, wiffleball, BB guns, street hockey and trips to Block Buster progressed to chasing girls & sneaking a beers in Chuck and Mary Jane's basement You were taken from this world too soon, Sean. I can only hope that Caroline & Grace have the good fortune to grow up alongside such a great friend as you were to me, Sean. Rest in peace, Coakley. Until we meet again.

We were so shocked and heartbroken to hear of Sean's passing. Sean and I worked together at Ntelx and continued our friendship after he left. He was a wonderful and loyal friend.
My wife, Andrea, considered him her friend as well. We will never forget his smile and good nature. Sean had a way about him that made you want to be around him. He was so considerate and always thought of others. When we had Sean over to our house, he always showed up with a gift for our daughter, Charlotte.
We feel so lucky to have had him in our lives and will truly miss him.
We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your entire family during this sad time.
Our deepest sympathy,
Mike and Andrea Begley

Coakley Family,
We were neighbors of Sean and were shocked and saddened by his sudden passing. Since we moved to the building a year ago, Sean was always welcoming, quick to offer a cheerful "Hi, Neighbors!" when we saw him at the gym, out around town, and in the hallway. Our thoughts are with your family during this difficult time - hoping you find joy in his memories and comfort in each other.
Deepest Condolences,
Matt and Beth (C1)

Dear Coakley Family
I had the joy of working with Sean early in our careers at Aristotle and remember joking around with him and laughing so hard almost every day of work because we both had a very similar sense of humor. I will continue to remember him and how much he brought to the world.
My condolences to your entire family

Dear Mr & Mrs Coakley,
Over the past 18 months, I have had the privilege of getting to know Sean through our work and shared love of hockey. He was both a colleague and friend, and I am deeply saddened by his passing. Sean and I often sat together at industry conferences and events discussing business, or at the local cantina with a margarita talking about the Bruins or his new golf hobby. A moment that always brought us to tears in laughter was what we went through to get the picture that he has posted on his LinkedIn profile. His easy-going nature and good sense of humor made every interaction a fun and worthwhile endeavor. Let there be no doubt he will be missed by us all. And let there be no doubt we are all better people for knowing him.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
With deep sympathy,
Cyndi Thomas

Dear Brad, Mr. and Mrs. Coakley:
I and deeply sorry, and words can't express the shock and pain I feel in learning of this. You are a great family, and Sean was and is lucky to have parents and a brother like you guys.
Having gone through some tough times myself these past years, I've grown to appreciate life, it's ups, and it's downs. Learning of this hit me especially hard because I consider you all as my extended family.
Everyone says it, but if there's anything you guys need, I am here. Sorry again for your loss, and God Bless.
