I worked for Shaun while at AIG in NY and with Lexington in Boston. He was the kindest, most thoughtful and supportive person I have ever met in the insurance industry. He had time for everyone and was always willing to support or critique when warranted. He is a shining example of the great deeds that can be accomplished by a good man.

Dear Lisa and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Shaun. It seems that it was not long ago that we were mourning the loss Rick.
Through all the sadness and feelings of loss, I am confident that you and Shaun built a solid foundation for which you and your family will carry out family traditions and they will continue on.
May you be comforted by all the happy memories that you share as a family and may God watch over you all.
Our sincere and heartfelt condolences.
Rich & Family.

My wife and I are incredibly saddened by this news. We were fortunate to work with Shaun for years. He was a strong leader, a very fair person while being incredibly down to earth. In spite of his responsibilities, he would always take the time to make a personal connection. Our deepest condolences to his family. He will undoubtedly be missed by those close friends and family fortunate enough to spend quality time with him. You will be in our prayers.

Shocked and saddened to hear the news. I knew Shaun from my years at Oneonta and a few years later. Mark, Karl and Kevin (Oneonta Classmates) all let me know that he had passed, and I could not believe it. Shaun was a great guy to be around back then, and I am not surprised that success followed him in life.
Lisa I said a prayer for you last night.
My Condolence´s to you and your wonderful family,
Fritz and Maria

Shaun was always a great colleague at AIG and Ironshore. He was great advocate for his people, a good listener and cared about the right things. He was most proud of his family and the achievements and accomplishments of all his children. He always had examples of those accomplishments ;ie art work proudly displayed in his office. He will be remembered and missed by many. He and his whole family will be in Maryellen and my prayers. May he rest in peace.

First memory of Shaun was day 1 at Oneonta hanging a tapestry on the ceiling in our dorm room. When he banged his finger instead of a tack with a hammer and yelled out a prejudice swear. He was certainly far from prejudice AND was scared of my reaction..... we both laughed and became quick, close friends and family for many years.

No matter how unpolished and immature I was early in my career, Shaun always showed me respect and kindness. I´ll never forget how he made time for everyone to connect on a personal level. He embodied in every way what it means to be a man for others. I am forever thankful for having known him. Sending my prayers and condolences to the Kelly family.
