The Floods have been a second family to me, led by Shirley, the matriarch who welcomed me into her home countless times with curiosity, affection, interest, loyalty, humor, civility, excitement, intellect, compassion and love.
I will miss her. I am heartened to know that her children, particularly Jay and Ted, are excellent people and solid friends. Lauren, who only met Shirley once, but also was struck by her warmth, sends her love as well.

To the wonderful family of Joan...Words cannot express the sadness that we feel at this time. She was a gift to all of us who knew and loved her..May you find peace in knowing that she is with her Heavenly Father in Heaven and has only moved on to a better place. God bless and keep you all. We will all say Goodnight here, but someday we will say Good Morning up there..
