Not sure what to say?

The Floods have been a second family to me, led by Shirley, the matriarch who welcomed me into her home countless times with curiosity, affection, interest, loyalty, humor, civility, excitement, intellect, compassion and love.

I will miss her. I am heartened to know that her children, particularly Jay and Ted, are excellent people and solid friends. Lauren, who only met Shirley once, but also was struck by her warmth, sends her love as well.

With love and condolences,...

I was saddened at the news of Aunt Shirley's passing. I will remember her as fun-loving person with a great love of her family and community. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am thinking of you at this time of sorrow. May the strength of your strong family ties pull you through. Lean on each other and celebrate the wonderful life of your mother.

Ted-I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the loss of your Mother, and Wife. Please be at peace knowing she is with her Lord in Heaven and watching over all of you now as a Heavenly Angel.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers - may wonderful memories give you peace.

To the wonderful family of Joan...Words cannot express the sadness that we feel at this time. She was a gift to all of us who knew and loved her..May you find peace in knowing that she is with her Heavenly Father in Heaven and has only moved on to a better place. God bless and keep you all. We will all say Goodnight here, but someday we will say Good Morning up there..
Much love............
