I will miss Silvana dearly. I'll miss her kind nature and gentle manner - qualities that I believe touched everyone she came in contact with. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table with her (in Italy and West Newton), or at an outing at the opera in NYC. Cory and I visited when we could, if I had a conference in Boston or for an impromptu Christmas trip. But, sadly because of distance and life's demands, it was never enough. Her door and heart were always open. She had a sympathetic ear, truly listened and was "motherly" towards me at times and I truly appreciated it. She was my husband's, Corrado's aunt, but she made me feel just like family. I loved her and will miss her very much. May she rest in eternal peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Lynne Newkofsky
