STEPHEN F. CLIFFORD

CLIFFORD, Stephen F. "Cliffy" 76, died gracefully April 24th. He was the beloved husband of Judith (Engle) Clifford. Raised in South Boston, he was the son of the late Daniel and Nell (Ellen Daly) Clifford. He leaves his cherished children: David and his wife the late Lisanne and Alexander and his wife Marlene Clifford all of Salem, MA, and his most favorite daughter: Marion Lea Clifford of Boston. He was the brother of Patrick and May Clifford of Wollaston, MA, Donna and Paul Devin of Plymouth, MA, and the late Ellen Folan. He was the brother-in-law of Jim and Robin Engle and Rick and Mary Engle all of Providence, RI. He also leaves many beloved nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews. The Clifford family would also like to thank Nicola and Jacque for their unending support. He was a graduate of Suffolk University and Suffolk University Law School, A lawyer by profession, he was an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth and was of counsel to the Boston Juvenile Court. Stephen loved life, family, politics and sports. His most treasured days were spent in Kennebunk, ME. A good man, he shall be forever missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 1pm in St Sebastian Church, 67 Cole Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery.
